TitanHouse, Inc. (“TitanHouse”, “we” or “our”), connects top technology companies with world class sales talent. TitanHouse is committed to transparency regarding the data we collect from you, and regarding how your personal data is used and shared with others. By using the TitanHouse.com website (“Website”), you agree to TitanHouse’s use and sharing of your data as provided in this Privacy Policy.
a. Consent
You are entering into a User Agreement with TitanHouse, which will be responsible for your personal data provided to, or collected by or for, the Website. If you use the Website, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your personal data under this Privacy Policy, and you consent to our Cookie Policy and User Agreement. You may choose to opt out or control how TitanHouse uses, processes and shares your personal data.
b. Change
TitanHouse may modify this Privacy Policy – and we may change the technology we use – at any time without prior notice, so you are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy on a regular basis. 2. How TitanHouse Collects Your Personal Data
a. Personal Data You Provide to TitanHouse
i. Registration
When you register to become a Website user, we collect various information from you, including but not limited to your name, email addresses, password, telephone numbers, residential address, past and current employers’ names and addresses, contact lists, professional experience, skills, educational background, payment and billing information, résumés, photographs, usage, and anything else you choose to input, upload or post, including data inferred therefrom (“Personal Data”). You may choose to omit some Personal Data during the registration process, or to subsequently change, add or remove some Personal Data.
ii. Sensitive Data
TitanHouse does not solicit sensitive data from you, such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, physical condition, mental health, sexual life/orientation, or criminal record (“Sensitive Data”). You may provide information about your gender, if you so choose, but you are not required to do so. Do not input, upload or post any Personal Data or Sensitive Data that you do not want to be collected, stored, shared and/or published.
iii. Choosing Not to Disclose Personal Data
If you choose not to disclose any Personal Data, you will not be able to use the Website. 3. How TitanHouse Processes and Shares Your Personal Data
TitanHouse processes your Personal Data to interact with you, to enable communication between members, to provide advertising, to personalize your use of the Website, and more. How TitanHouse specifically uses your Personal Data depends on how you use the Website, and how you choose to configure your settings.
a. Membership Administration
TitanHouse uses your Personal Data for purposes of membership administration and to deliver member benefits to you. TitanHouse may also use your Personal Data to help TitanHouse tailor our services to meet users’ needs. We also use your Personal Data to authenticate you, to ensure that someone else is not using your account, and to resolve service issues.
b. Communications
TitanHouse may use your Personal Data to communicate with you regarding TitanHouse events, publications and other content to which you have subscribed. c. Networking and Hiring Opportunities
TitanHouse may use your Personal Data to enable networking between you, potential employers and other Website users. You will be able to choose which individuals and corporations you would like to connect with, and who wish to connect with you. You will be able to search other users, and other users will be able to search for you. TitanHouse may use your usage history, contact data and other data you disclose or share to suggest user connections, and to invite others to become users of the Website. When you invite a user to connect with you, or when you accept another user’s connection invitation, your profile information will be disclosed to the other user. The Website will also enable you to explore hiring opportunities, and to be contacted by other users seeking to be hired by you via each other’s profile information. TitanHouse may recommend – via in-Website messages, emails, text messages, and other means of communication – employment opportunities that may be of interest to you, and we may recommend you to other users for positions in which you may be interested.
d. Public Posts
The Website will display to users your public comments, shares, follows, likes and other activity. The Website will also provide notifications to you and other users when such activity occurs.
e. Advertising and Marketing
TitanHouse and third parties with whom TitanHouse shares your Personal Data may advertise events, meetings, publications and other content in which you may be interested. You are not required to submit any Personal Data to third-party advertisers, which may have privacy policies that differ from this Privacy Policy, and you agree that TitanHouse will not be responsible for Personal Data you provide to third-party advertisers or their processing or sharing of the same.
f. Website Improvement
TitanHouse may use your Personal Data to research and develop Website improvements. Such improvements may consist of providing users with greater functionality and ease-of-use, and may be used to increase Website membership.
g. Data Aggregation
TitanHouse uses Personal Data in an aggregate, anonymized format to research professional and economic trends. TitanHouse publishes, or allows third parties to publish, professional and economic insights in the form of aggregated data.
h. Disclosures Required by Law or Security

i. Personal Data Disclosed to Other Websites
When you choose to link your Website account with other websites, your Personal Data will automatically be made available to that website and its users. Such third-party websites may include social media and employment websites, among others. TitanHouse is not responsible for the privacy practices of such third-party websites, which may vary from this Privacy Policy.
j. Do Not Track
The Website tracks each user when they cross from our public website or enter via a third-party link to our protected website by logging in with their user name and password. The Website does not track users when they cross to third-party websites, does not provide targeted advertising to third-party websites, and therefore does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
k. Service Providers
TitanHouse uses third parties to provide Website services, such as hosting, security, maintenance, analysis, payment, marketing and development. Our third-party service providers will have access to Personal Data as necessary to provide their services; however, they are bound by agreements not to disclose Personal Data to other third parties.
l. Change of Control or Sale
TitanHouse may share and/or transfer your Personal Data as part of an actual or potential merger, sale or change of control. The succeeding entity will have the right to continue to use your Personal Data pursuant to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to such continued usage, you agree that your sole remedy will be to delete your account and discontinue using the Website.
4. Data Retention, Security and Transfer
a. Retention
TitanHouse retains Personal Data for so long as your account is active, even if your usage is minimal, until you choose to close your account. The Website will delete your Personal Data within ninety (90) days after you close your account, however: (i) your Personal Data may be visible on the Website to other users for up to seven (7) business days thereafter; (ii) text and Personal Data you previously chose to communicate to other users or group posts will be retained by the Website and those users; (iii) back-up instances of system data may contain Personal Data that will not be used by TitanHouse; (iv) TitanHouse may be required by laws, rules, regulations and other legal requirements to retain Personal Data, including to resolve any disputes; and (v) TitanHouse may retain your usage information in an aggregated, anonymized form that will be used and shared by TitanHouse.
b. Security
TitanHouse implements physical, technical and administrative safeguards designed to protect your Personal Data. We or our service providers update and monitor the security of our Website and systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, however, we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us against access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction due to a breach of any physical, technical or managerial safeguard. TitanHouse is headquartered in the USA, and Personal Data the Website collects from you will be processed in the USA. The USA has not received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR, so you agree that TitanHouse may rely on Article 49 of the GDPR that permits TitanHouse to collect and transfer your Personal Data to the USA: (i) with your consent; (ii) to perform a contract with you; (iii) to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest in a manner that does not override your interests, rights and/or freedoms; and/or (iv) pursuant to any other exception, derogation or other permission (collectively, “Permissions”). 5. Disputes
You agree that any dispute over privacy, the terms or conditions contained in this Privacy Policy and/or any other agreement we have with you or you have with us will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, U.S.A., without regard for its choice of law principles. c. Connecticut
With regard to the law of the state of Connecticut, U.S.A., TitanHouse does not collect Social Security numbers (“SSNs”), intentionally communicate SSNs to the general public, print SSNs on any document required for an individual to access products or services, require an individual to transmit SSNs over an unencrypted electronic connection, or require an individual to use SSNs to access the Website.
